A PWA or progressive web app is in part what allows WildRank to be "installed" on devices from the browser.

Limitations / Requirements

It is important to note some limitations of PWAs. Most notably there are a series of requirements to make a PWA installable. The primary requirement is that the app must be served over HTTPS. I have seen some cases on localhost where this limit isn't imposed, but if you are running your own instance and you would like it to be installable you will have to serve it with TLS.

Installing the PWA

To install the app on desktop an "Install WildRank" button will appear on the homescreen. Due to limitations with mobile browsers this feature isn't available there. On devices where the button is not available the browser should have an "Install App" or "Add to Home Screen" button in an overflow menu.
