Remove compress_table test

The compress_table test heavily depends on specific implemention
details of the current code preventing refactoring of that code.
In addition it does not use the compression API but uses custom
wrapper around internal functions and fakes catalog entries.
Removing the test should not result in reduction of test coverage.
