Add "handleRoutingAndHistory" config key (default true) for backbone compatibility #405
base: master
Are you sure you want to change the base?

@shawndrost, I noticed that you had to disabled _skeleton.scss and other changes to src to make the rest of the demo works. Unlikely that we will find time to clean it up, but thanks for the extensive patch. I will leave this pull request open until we figure if we want something like a "contrib" folder or repo. |
This is a great idea. At the moment I just let jQTouch do all the routing and have Backbone handle views, models and collections. Being able to use the router in Backbone would be nice. Having said that.. if that was the goal, you might almost be better using the styles/css from jQTouch and using something like Piotr Walczyszyn's Backstack for view stack management and Backbone for routing (https://github.com/pwalczyszyn/backstack). |
See demos/backbone/index.html. The line diff of jqtouch.js is pretty confusing (since most changes are whitespace); try a word diff.
