Thermal, Ice Evolution, and Exosphere Models for Planetary Surfaces
Updated release summary:
- Included Volterra predictor in Crank-Nicolson subroutine. There will be a paper about this in future.
- Lower boundary condition for Crank-Nicolson subroutine has moved by half a layer.
- These two changes propagated into many test cases, which have been updated.
- New vapor pressure parametrizations for several species. This will be described as part of another future paper.
- One bug fix in exosphere model for trajectories longer than half the planet (thanks to Alexander Smolka)
- Cyril Mergny improved the performance of conductionQ.py
In plain language: No changes users would have to worry about it, but the detailed output of nearly everything changes because of fundamental changes to the heat equation solver. Besides that, a few improvements over the last release.

PCC without MSIM: The major change is that MSIM (Mars Subsurface Ice Model) now has its own repository, and is no longer part of the Planetary-Code-Collection. Other than that, there have been relatively minor code additions and cleanup since the last release.

Updated release. This is the last release of the Planetary Code Collection that includes the Mars Subsurface Ice Model (MSIM). MSIM now has its own repository and will no longer be included in future releases of the Planetary Code Collection.
