But there's a slim barrier, a feeble defense against the tide of darkness—a crumbling outer gate, barely standing behind the decrepit Cathedral. It strains against the onslaught of evil, but its strength is waning, its iron bars threatening to yield to the relentless assault.
You, brave soul, are thrust into this nightmare, your fate entwined with the survival of humanity. Your mission: to hold the gate against the tide of malevolent creatures, to stand as a bulwark against the encroaching darkness.
