The Wren:DS repository has the following branches:
Branch from which 3.x releases are created. Only bugfixes and security fixes are added to this branch. Branch was forked from ForgeRock's CDDL licensed OpenDJ 3.0 GIT branch.
Branch from which 3.5.x releases are created. Only bugfixes and security fixes are added to this branch. Branch was forked from ForgeRock's CDDL licensed OpenDJ 3.0 GIT branch and fast forwarded with a source drop of ForgeRock's CDDL licensed OpenDJ's 3.5.1 sources.
Branch where new feature development happens. It is based on the sustaining/3.5.x branch.
The old ForgeRock master branch which was later to become ForgeRock OpenDJ 4.0 (which was rebranded to ForgeRock DS 5.0). However this branch is incomplete since this branch was in development when ForgeRock closed the source to
