Searching Data

- Select Tree of Sex from Project drop-down menu. Click Select Project button.
- Click on Search in the navigation menu at the top right of the page.
- On the search page, select the taxonomy and traits you want to search. You may add rows by clicking on the icon. Use the icon to remove or clear rows.
- If you want to select all traits, skip the Select Traits section and check the box next to Select all traits.
- At the bottom, you can check any of the boxes next to the following fields:
- Select all traits - Display all traits in the results instead of selecting them in the Select Traits section.
- Only include rows with data for chosen traits - The results will not display empty cells (cells with no data).
- Include references - Sources for the data that are specific to each traits
- Click the Search button for the search results.
- Use the Download all button to download a copy of the entire dataset in CSV format.
- Use the Show Traits List link in the Select Traits section to view all of the traits in another tab.
- At the top, the page will state the number of rows being displayed.
- Use the next to each column heading to sort through the corresponding column.
- Use the (search boxes) under each column heading to search through the corresponding column.
- By default, the search results page shows 10 rows at a time. The row at the bottom of the search results table allows for navigating through results with more than 10 rows.
- Sources for the data are listed at the bottom of the page.
- Use the Download Results (CSV) button in the top right corner to download a copy of the search results in CSV format.
