Overview

The Shopping List App is a powerful and user-friendly checklist application designed to streamline your shopping experience. It simplifies the process of creating, managing, and sharing your shopping lists. No more forgetting items or feeling overwhelmed at the store – our app has got you covered!

Very Important:

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen technical challenges, we were unable to configure the self-registration feature in our app as originally planned. As a result, we have taken the initiative to add your official university email addresses to our Okta system.

Here's what you need to know:

• You will receive an activation email from Okta to your official university email address.

• Once your Okta account is activated, you will be able to log in to our app using your credentials. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause to your experience. Our team is here to assist you throughout the process, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition.

If you encounter any confusion, problems, or have questions during the account activation process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be readily available to provide any assistance you may require.

Key Functions

• Login: To access your personalized shopping lists and enjoy features like data synchronization across devices, start by logging into your account. Click on the "Login" button and provide your credentials (Email and password).
• Add New Items: You can add items to your shopping list with just a few taps. Enter the item's name and choose its category from the dropdown menu for better organization.
• Check off Items: Once you've bought an item, simply tap the checkbox next to it to mark it as purchased. This helps you keep track of what's left to buy.
• Edit Items: Need to update an item's name or category? No problem! Just click on the pencil icon to edit the item's details.
• Delete Items: If you no longer need an item on your list, click on the 'x' icon to remove it.
• Category Filter: Stay organized by filtering your shopping list by category. Choose a category from the dropdown list to view only the items related to that category.
• Share with Others: Share your shopping list with family or friends effortlessly. Click on the copy icon, and all your empty items will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste the list anywhere to easily share it with others.
• Dark Mode: We understand that preferences vary, and that's why we've included a Dark Mode feature. To enable Dark Mode, simply toggle the switch by clicking on the slider(right-down). Enjoy a more visually comfortable shopping experience in low-light environments.
• Logout: You can always choose to log out from your account for added security or to switch between accounts. Click on the "Logout" button to sign out of your current session.
