Welcome to shadowbyte!

Shadowbyte is a versatile Python-based command-line application designed to provide users with a set of useful tools for system information, directory comparison, task management, YouTube video downloading, password generation, QR code creation, real-time network consumption monitoring, and file searching within the system.

How to Use

1. Installation

   Make sure you have Python installed. If not, download and install it from python.org.

   You can install the application using the following methods:

   • From GitHub Releases:

     1. Go to the Releases page.
     2. Download the latest release for your operating system.
     3. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
     4. Run the shadowbyte file.

   • From Source:

     1. Clone the repository:

     git clone https://github.com/Gerijacki/Shadowbyte.git
     

     2. Launch the app:

     python gerijacki.py
     

2. Features

   • Simplicity: Easy-to-use interface

3. Functionality Overview

   • Info (Informacion del sistema): Provides essential information about the system, including operating system details, architecture, processor, and memory information.

   • Direct-X (Comparador de directorios): Allows users to compare files between two directories. It provides a list of common files and different files between the specified directories.

   • Task (Gestor de tareas): Manages tasks and processes. Users can view and interact with the running processes, terminate tasks, and monitor system resource usage.

   • YT-MP4 (Descargar videos de youtube): Downloads videos from YouTube in MP4 format. Users can input the video URL, and the application fetches and saves the video locally.

   • PASSWD (Generador de contraseñas): Generates strong and secure passwords. Users can customize the length and complexity of the password.

   • Generador QR (Generador de codigos QR): Creates QR codes for various types of data, such as URLs, text, or contact information. Users can easily generate QR codes for their needs.

   • Monitor consumo (Monitor del consumo de red a tiempo real): Monitors real-time network consumption, providing information on upload and download speeds. Useful for tracking network usage over time.

   • Buscador Archivos (Buscar archivos en el sistema): Searches for files within the system based on user-defined criteria. It helps users locate files efficiently.
