Mostly I'm just coming here to stay thank you for this. It's very useful! Here's my feature request: a simple graphical UI, maybe just for selecting the colors of the rainbow. I bet that's not super-hard in Python, though I've never done that.

A flask web server for this could work. platform agnostic, mostly.
