Is there a plan to merge this into the kernel? #1
Comments
try it if you have some experience in interaction with kernel devs :) |
Please excuse my naivete... do you mean you've tried, or that you refuse to
try because they're impossible to work with?

ntfs-3g isn't a kernel module. It is a userspace utility. The relevant part, fuse, is in the kernel. |
@emsaks I don't think it's harder than it should be, but I don't have time for it. It could be easier if I had a reputation of a kernel developer, but I don't. By the way, I've seen some news about new features in the kernel fuse module. Maybe they've already implemented the same feature? |
