Noted feedback from the survey

• Project moves too fast and it's kind of difficult to keep up with all of the changes to Bazzite even with the newsletters and other documentation.
• Concerns with too many images which comes across as daunting to the user when they have to choose one in the installer.
• Concerns over maintenance and lingering bugs due to the amount of specific images.
• KDE Plasma images suffer from applications, like Firefox, taking a little long to start at boot.
• HDR support.
• redroid support for Nvidia images as an alternative to Waydroid.
• Most of the other just commands should be in the Bazzite Portal or some other GUI.
• Nix/Home Manager/Fleek GUI so users can be build their $HOME environment easily.
• A warning built into Bazzite for major changes especially since updates on the desktop images are automatic. The Nvidia image changes where Steam+other packages went from the bazzite-arch container to the host image caused issues for this user because of the unexpected change that occurred.
• Handheld PCs that are NOT the Steam Deck need better support if possible.

Hello!

I have Lenovo Ideapad laptop which works great with bazzite, except for one nagging issue - some games use the crappy iGPU and some use the nVidia dGPU.

Before I get responses to disable onboard/iGPU in BIOS -- it's not an option. It's either hybrid or iGPU only, no discreet option. Lenovo does have an advanced BIOS secret menu but that gives the same options.

SUPERGFX gives the same options as BIOS does: Hybrid, or Integrated Only.

When I run lspci, I get:

I tried to be clever and

sudo rpm-ostree kargs --append=modprobe.blacklist=amdgpu
but that led to a non-bootable bazzite, I had to edit the grub on startup and

sudo rpm-ostree rollback
fixed it.

So my suggestion is to make it an option for just using nVidia dGPU only, which is why I am using bazzite in the first place. Or perhaps a similar prompt on first-run of bazzite portal.

Bazzite Portal usability would benefit from a "Next" button in addition to "Back" and "Install" for cases where a user wishes to skip a step. Should I put this in the survey?
