Images are often just pixels (OR image as PDF compressed TEXT = not a file format) so a "selection" can be copied to clipboard or as image to clipboard. SumatraPDF has that PDF Reader Right Click capability exactly the same as others like Acrobat Reader The "clipboard" contents can then be used BY any other application. Other applications like MuTools could be used to extract a pages images but then it can be a fruitless task This ONE PDF image contains many many more than it seems.

Some things you may be surprised to discover. (Many not that useful with modern HTML :-) Applications like SumatraPDF can be still be Imbedded in a few Modern Web Browsers (NOT modern Chromium's nor modern Firefox) However SumatraPDF is still in effect a Web Page Browser so here is this GitHub Page in the raw as viewed without its images ! Windows can snapshot and save images of application windows. Above is SumatraPDF saved in Video Captures as a PNG (WIN + ALT + PrintScreen) so zoom in or out to any part of a web.html or document area and bypass the need to save the clip into Paint. |

Suggest adding the function of "Save As" to the right-click menu for selected images in SumatraPDF?
