I contribute on Bevy Engine as one of the maintainers and a user of the engine. My focus is on:

  • Reviewing PRs
  • Making sure CI and tools are running smoothly
  • Helping the ecosystem move with Bevy when a fix for an issue or a crate update is needed
  • Writing PRs to help the engine improve

Outside of direct contributions to Bevy, I also:

  • write plugins for Bevy that you can find at Vleue
  • try to improve Bevy learning curve, with workshops and extended documentation
  • maintain and improve the tool used by Bevy to check for rendering regressions: Pixel Eagle
  • plan to build an arcade machine to act as a showcase for Bevy games at conferences
