Fan no longer turns off since SmartIR update #1344

I had a similar experience when upgrading to Core: 2025.1.0. I received notification that my devices were no longer being controlled by SmartIR. I reverted back to 2024.12.5 and everything worked again. |

Describe the bug
Ceiling fans are controlled by Broadlink RM4 Pro.
SmartIR upgraded to 1.18.0.
Since upgrade, fans can be turned on and speed changed, but fan cannot be turned off.
Error received: Failed to perform the action fan/turn_off. 'Off'
The fan can be successfully turned off by using the "Remote: Send command" action, and sending the correct command i.e. "Off".
