Device: ratgdo 2.5i GDO: Chamberlain B750 Security+ 2.0 Wall Panel: Chamberlain 41A7327-1 Other Devices: 2 wireless remotes and exterior keypad
First off, I was not able to install the ESP Home version via the web installer due to hanging on connecting to wifi or simply coming back with unable to connect to wifi, so I had to use eshome CLI to install with the PHY mode trick.
Everything works great when I fresh install esphome-ratgdo for a couple days at most, then the door status stops updating its status changes, same with the light. I don't need the status for the light to update when motion is detected, that is not my concern at all, just getting that out of the way. When these status updates stop, no matter what device I use to open/close the door - remotes, keypad, wall panel - the status of the door does not change. Restarts and sync button presses do not resolve the issue, sometimes pulling the power and plugging back in a bit later will work, but again, not always.
I am still able to control the door and light with the web UI, Home Assistant, Apple Home, etc. but the status updates do not come through at all. Only obstruction shows. Attached is a screenshot of my log from the web ui, this was from a door open event, walked through obstruction sensors twice, and then closed the door, and it clearly shows that only the obstruction events are logging.
Noting that this device is a year old now (almost exactly, received Dec 2023) and I used it before I moved on my old GDO which was Sec+1.0 using the MQTT version, which I was unable to install on this device due to the same wifi hang issue. When it was on the previous GDO, it worked perfectly and never had an issue, aside from the expected wall panel light button issue. But control/status always worked.
I of course did an erase and clean install on the device, multiple times actually, so there's no conflicting firmware.
I do not have the means to constantly have the device plugged into a computer to get serial logs, and if I restart it, it's likely the device will function properly for a few days and therefore unable to see any issues happening. If there is a way to drain the logs to Loki or somewhere else remote, please let me know how to do so and I will configure that.
