I also developed https://do-me.github.io/SDG-Analyzer/ a while ago where you can switch the HF model easily.

It all boils down to the quality of the embedding models (and also the chunking if texts are exceeding the model's context length). It would probably make sense to retrain this one here on ModernBERT as it shows very promising results! Will maybe take a stab at it in the future.

Also there is https://knowsdgs.jrc.ec.europa.eu/sdgmapper but it's only keyword-based (at least when I checked last time).
