This github repository has no git tags indicating the syna version. It would be simpler for troubleshooting to have git tags here.

Great suggestion. @mpourismaiel we probably should add this to our release checklist to tag submodule updates within syna-start as well.

Added this to our release checklist. Modifying this issue to make this a retroactive action as well.

The current release v0.17.4 also has the tag within the starter repo. Will keep this open for a retroactive action as well.
