Crashes when opening

I am on a MacBook Pro M1 with the latest version of the OS. I installed the app successfully but after opening the app and clicking on the icon in the menu bar it crashes. I tried restarting and reinstalling and get the same issues every time.

Hey @joelohrdev, which version are you using? The stable version or the new beta?

If you're seeing an actual crash, I'd appreciate you sending me your crash log as described in the first post here:
#92 (you can post the crash log in this topic or in the other one)

Also, do check out the FAQ in the README first if you haven't already.

If would also be helpful if you could let me know what the output of the following command is:

sudo brew services info --all --json

I am using the beta version. I am getting an error when trying to run the command provided.

What error are you getting (when running brew services)? You might need to upgrade Homebrew: brew update && brew upgrade.

Also, updating brew fixed the issue I was running into. Sorry for the trouble.

Good to hear! This is apparently a common issue, so thanks to the feedback I've been able to add a check in beta 2 that will advise users to run brew upgrade.
