Missing GIT option - core.bare true

Hi, after watching your Youtube video about your workflow based on worktrees, I've experiment with a similar setup but think that there is a config option missing. Otherwise while standing in the command git status will show that all files are missing. I've managed to fix it with

# target-dir is the folder containing the .bare folder
git -C <target-dir> core.bare true

After that it showed the main branch but no missing files anymore

And it seems that this doesn't block us from performing git add or git merge mentioned below.
