Hi,

I've just built the windows server 2016 nano for VirtualBox on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit host with:

  • Packer 1.2.1
  • VirtualBox 5.1.26
  • Windows Server 2016 Build 1705 Evaluation ( 14393.0.161119-1705.RS1_REFRESH_SERVER_EVAL_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO)

On disk the box file is 2.0GB. Matt's hurry up and wait article talks about it being closer to 300MB at the time of writing. Having very little windows admin experience, any suggestions as to things I could to look at to bring it closer to the 300MB, or did Nano have a growth spurt! :D

Many thanks in advance.

Best Wishes,

Roy.
