seconding that
wanted to install "dash" this morning, the lookup offers 2 results whit perfect name match, both point to the official website, there is no way to know what's the difference between the 2.
Using the terminal you can figure out that one version is the latest major 7.xx while the other is a version frozen to 6.x

Hi @eugenesvk and @johnLegasse.

I'm working on this feature right now. It currently shows this information. Would you like to see anything else displayed?

CleanShot 2025-01-02 at 20 36 09

I'm getting the data from the Homebrew API so only this information is available.

That sounds like a nice addition.
I also like to look at the analytics as a popularity gauge to compare 2 packages with similar features:
install: 13,209 (30 days), 42,840 (90 days), 157,861 (365 days)
available in "brew info firefox" and the API you linked, but that's extra, not needed for the resolution problem initially mentioned.
thank you

Thanks for adding this, though it is a per-package view, but I'd like to have a list where this information is visible without having to click on each package individually.
And install size would also be nice
