Goal

Devaten is a platform for monitoring and collecting various metrics related to databases, such as query performance, resource utilization, latency, throughput, error rates, and more. These metrics are crucial for understanding the health, performance, and usage patterns of databases within an application environment.

Do a research on how we can use the metrics from Devaten, integrate them to Keptn and expose them via Keptn metrics CRs.

Questions for the research

  • Is it possible to integrate Keptn with Devaten?
  • Can we use Devaten as another metrics provider?

If possible, let's create a small PoC as part of this research (in the points where it makes sense).
