[Feature request] Reminder Service #124

Is there any possibility to add a Reminder Service which sends an email to upcoming events?
Or does it already exist somewhere?

Shouldn't be too hard to do.

The background is here, that we have a lot of no-shows at the events we are doing,
so a reminder mail could be quite helpful here.
