Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The larger a family tree becomes, the more time-consuming it is to find family members in GEDBAS, for example. That's why it would be nice if you could use an automated tool to search for family members in the CompGen meta search or perhaps just in GEDBAS.

Describe the solution you'd like
A tool in the user interface in which persons (e.g. all, families, individual persons) can be selected and then the search is started.

Yes, as CompGen member I like this idea!

I am not sure about the possibility to select many objects at once - we don't want to overload external services. Would a button on an inidivual person page be sufficient? Perhaps similar to the way FamilySearch does it?

I think this would be a good starting point. Maybe with some options like which names should be used.

A small addendum: If there are hits in the DES database, it would be nice if the data (especially the ID) could be transferred after verification. Perhaps a checkbox list would be suitable for this, so that the individual fields could be selected.

That's not a small addendum unfortunately, feeding data back is much more involved than opening a search result page, and (at least for some services) it might not even be allowed parsing result data programmatically. So let's keep it out of scope of this feature request for the moment.
