Hi all! With the growing popularity of EV's, more and more relevant icons will be used by a bigger and bigger audience. I think it would suit Google's MDI well to include the most popular plug designs as icons, such as:
ChaDeMo(IEC 62196-3 configuration AA) - Obsolete, but used globally in 2010-2015
Type 1, also available as CCS1 for fast charging (SAE J1772) - Competes with NACS in North America
Type 2, also available as CCS2 for fast charging (IEC 62196 Type 2) - Standardised in (parts of) Europe, South America, Africa, Oceania and other regions.
NACS, originally called Tesla Charging Connector (North American Charging Standard) - Competes with Type 1 in North America
