Clicking 'GPay' button opens google sign in

Hello,
I'm implementing Google Pay Button inside a react application, which is opened as a WebView.
When clicking the button, a google sign-in screen is opened. Any idea why? and how can i prevent this from happening?

You need to be logged in order to use Google Pay. The same happens if you use incognito mode and try Google Pay here:
