Thanks for the report! This is part of #16 - the support to send the marker isn't in v1.0, but will be coming in v1.1. |

Hello Cory, just gave it a spin on my ipad. It is broadcasting the markers
to other EUD on the network, but as soon as I rename a marker from
"UNKNOWN...." and rebroadcast it, it disappears on other devices. It does
persist on the IPad.
Also, it does not show up as one of the EUD on my OpenTAKServer UI, or show
up on the OTS Map.

to follow on, the broadcasts may have been local as all of my machines are
in close company to each other. I'm asking one of my remote users in
Colorado if he is getting the markers.

yes, that is the one that I was running. I'll let you know if the
broadcast made it to Colorado when they check in.

Older version of TAK Tracker. 2.5.86 on an IPhone 7+. Can’t get a server
connection with OpenTAKServer using data package. Seems to work fine with
Argustak. Still troubleshooting. Will let you know how it goes. This is
just for info

@bill-mcbride Thanks! It may be related to issue #46 or at least the fix for that or #59 might help once I back port those to TAK Tracker. |

@bill-mcbride I'm going to give this a spin on an OpenTAKServer instance, but probably not until the 1.2 release. The markers should be broadcast through it though as I did verify they're being send through standard TAK servers (via TCP, not UDP yet). |

sounds good. For some unknown reason, tak-tracker stopped working on my
older iphone 7. It was working fine for several months, with Argustak and
FTS.

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
When creating a marker on TAKAware (Ipad), it shows up on the screen, but is not broadcast to the server for updating other connected users on the same network.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Look on the map of other ATAK machines connected to same network. No joy.
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
expect to see it on all networked machines. when using ITAK on the same Ipad, and using the broadcast option, the markers show up on both the opentakserver UI window, and on Wintak and ATAK machines.

ITAK behaves as expected on this same machine.
