Story ranking that takes age into account

First I gotta say that I get so much value out of Kanji Koohii it's crazy. The user submitted stories are amazing, way better than anything I could come up with, and way better than mnemonics from any of the other resources I've used. Thank you!

I have a suggestion for improving story rankings. I think it's sometimes the case that older stories have more upvotes than newer, better stories, just because the older stories have been around longer and have had more time to accumulate upvotes.

It would be interesting to have an alternative sorting that was based on something like upvotes / age, which might give newer, but high-quality stories a better chance of rising up through the rankings.
