Help me understand notifications

Hello folks,

I'm having a hard time getting changedetection behave as I expect it to. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding how things work.

I have a watch configured that correctly identifies the element text I need it to target. I've configured notifications to discord and added filters & triggers. I can see in the preview that the triggers and filters are correctly identified.

However, the issue I'm facing is that I am getting notifications for any and all changes to the targeted element of the website I'm watching independent of if the text matches triggers or filters.

Shouldn't notifications fire only when the text matches triggers or are not filtered out?

can you explain this? i dont quite understand what you're saying here, can you give an example?
