I'm creating a new search in "Saved Searches".

This tag is in the YAML frontmatter of my notes.
--- tags: zettel_notes ---
I click SAVE. I open the created search again. There is no underscore in the search. In its place is a "space".

If you open the "zettel_notes" tag from Attributes --> Tags, all notes that have this tag will be found.
I expect that I can create searches with tags that have underscores.
