[question] Point to a branch or commit

What is your question?

I would like to know if it is possible to achieve one or more of the following:

1. Point the dependency to a specific commit in the original repository.
2. Point to a specific branch in the original dependency repository.
3. Create a patch for a library in Conan.

I am asking this because I updated emsdk, and Sol2 has an issue. I cloned the Sol2 repository to fix it, but it was already resolved. Unfortunately, their latest release was two years ago.
