Trix rich text editor modifications only take effect after a turbo load and occur multiple times with each successive turbo load

Regular HTML page load:

This one is the stock Trix editor.

First turbo load (form request):

This one has replaced the stock editor heading button with two rich text multi-heading buttons.

Second turbo load (form request):

See the duplicated rich text toolbar buttons (color, heading, divider)
