As a user, I would like to see a real batch mode (dark, guiless) to better support mass comparison in the background. Use cases are tasks in the area of database maintenance, migration projects.
Collection of ideas:
Division of configuration or INI data into clear categories, such as GUI settings (only for GUI-mode), comparison settings, merge settings, reply settings, output settings ... .
Performance settings, if not already completely transparent to the end user, should not be too technical for him. Perhaps rather on the level of workload of the machine concerned than on a concrete number of CPU cores.
An xml interface for all call parameters and settings (for batch and GUI calls) analogous to the project xml. This call xml is structured according to the above categories. In contrast to the project xml, it can not only be stored in a file, but can also be transferred as an xml string in the command line.
