Actually, the MultiROM loader does not support ROM names with whitespaces.
The app actually does not warn of it; I got two ROMs bugged, until I found it in the ROM loader.
You could add just a check for whitespaces in the new ROM name.

Was this ever patched? Because I have a ROM with a space in the name that boots just fine.
