Support for mac? #560

Yet another question I was sure to answer myself directly, yet I possibly forgot to made it public. FAQ is kinda outdated since we use now That being said, macOS support is still in try it yourself and expect failures state, WebCord was initially design as a no-relaunch single-session per-process app, which kinda breaks with the idea of macOS processes staying launched in the background. Other stuff is that I have nothing to test it on, at least legally. Apple really tries its best to even block projects that devs could use to write a software to test it on without Apple hardware and even if it didn't, their ToS are really invasive when it comes using macOS outside of Apple hardware. This is so unlike to another well-known proprietary OS: Windows, where even Microsoft submits a special builds of Windows dedicated to VMs. |
