Default Theme content Blank

I am using the Dawn theme and uploaded a customized version of it from one store to another. However, when I access this uploaded theme through the CLI, I lose the default theme content. This issue started occurring after I edited the theme content in the local CLI version. Please help me recover the content because every time I try to work on this theme using the CLI, I lose the content.
