2.3.3 does not start

Installed the newest release 2.3.3 (Setup-PicView-v2.3.3-win-x64.exe)..it does not start but crashes silently

I can't reproduce it. Running it on my own PC with Windows 10 and using Windows Sandbox, everything works fine.

Some possibly related things I can find is another open issue in PowerToys with crashing with Exception code: 0xc0000602 at microsoft/PowerToys#28970, where it was only resolved by a clean reinstallation. There's also an open issue in the dotnet runtine repository that seems to be the same dotnet/runtime#110099.

Might I suggest you try the preview versions for the upcoming 3.0 version I'm working on, and see if that works? It's only missing a few features, and I'd argue it's a lot better than the 2.3.3 version.
