Describe the feature/enhancement you need

Recently, a split screen feature was added to the Edge browser. It would be great for the same functionality to be added to WebView2.

The scenario/use case where you would use this feature

Our software uses the WebView2 control to display very long reports (they could be hundreds of pages when printed). A split screen view is useful when you are working with two separate areas on the report.

For example, our reports include many summary tables. It can be useful to keep the summary table in view and in the split screen read the detailed report for specific items.

We migrated from the IE control which had this functionality.

How important is this request to you?

Nice to have. There are other ways to tackle this, but having official API support would be beneficial.

Suggested implementation

No response

What does your app do? Is there a pending deadline for this request?

It's software used by mechanical engineers to design equipment. The resulting reports can be very long and we use the WebView2 control for the display of the report.
