Is your idea related to an existing functionality? Please describe.
I see Hypha uses Weblate for translation, which is not necessarily in conflict with non-Weblate PRs for language file updates. It would be nice to use an LLM to make first-pass translations for new languages as needed.
Describe the solution. Tell us how it works!
Since there are already some full translations completed, it would be nice to use those translations as context for new translations. I predict a tool such as auto-po-lyglot or something like it would come in handy. It appears to support ollama which means an ethical LLM could be used.
Priority
Low priority (annoying, would be nice to not see)
Affected roles
General public
Ideal deadline
None, this is just a suggestion, and perhaps a reminder to myself of that tool in case my customers need support for more languages in the future.
