No rush on this, but figured I'd create a ticket to track this.

Yesterday, Angular2 announced their new 3.0.0-alpha.3 router, and are recommending everyone upgrade to it: https://angularjs.blogspot.com/2016/06/improvements-coming-for-routing-in.html

Per the first blog post, official docs will be coming soon (within two weeks). So, we can always wait on those as needed.
