Suggestions to improve an already great soft!

First of all thank you very much for the great work you've done!

Please consider the possibility to add this functionalities:

1- Append a tag to all notes of a backup
For example I have a file with +300 tags relating to all illustrations on www.myjwillustration.com and I want to add those notes to my device. the problem is that when adding it it becomes a confusion mixture between what's an illustration and what's not..
It would be great that I could open the illustrations file, append the tag "Illustrations" to all notes and then merge with my current backup

2- merge 2 or more tags into a single new one (or just rename a tag) - applied to all pertinent notes
For example I end up having several different tags for the same purpose like "wt study", "weekend study", etc...
It would be great to tidy up the study pane

3- Export only specific tags, or except specific tags
This seems a better solution in my opinion to ignore sensitive notes when exporting the notes to my wife for example

4- remove a tag without removing the notes having it

5- Put a generic tag into notes that have no tags

@jayrtom Thanks for the great ideas. Some questions (using your numbering):

1. When you say "I have a file" and "it would be great to open the illustrations file" are you referring to a JWL backup file that you'd like to process in JwlMerge?
2. Merging sounds useful. BTW, you can already rename tags in JWL.

Hi. Refering to your question, n1 - YEs it's a JWL backup file prepared by someone else. As for the N2, I'll check it out.

Hello! Thank you for a great software, helps a lot with many devices! One suggestion I have:

1. It seems there are Favorites on my devices which cannot be deleted in the app. This happened a long time ago and since then those have been there on the list and cannot be removed. Would it be possible to choose "Remove all Favorites" etc. in JWLMerge to work it out?
