System Details

  • OS: [Windows 11]
  • Thorium Version [128.0.6613.189]
  • 1Password for Windows 8.10.54 (81054022)

Problem
This is basically the same as #129. Thorium + 1Password desktop app integration doesn't work, requires double sign-in.

I have tried enabling chrome://flags/#launch-windows-native-hosts-directly as mentioned on the previous issue thread. No luck.

You may also have to set nativemessaginghosts like so (modify the strings for this though, not bitwarden) Alex313031/thorium#363 (comment)

But I'm not sure exactly how to do this for 1Password. Sorry.

I can see that on the 1Password side, there is an existing feature request thread for Trusted Browser Support - Windows. I will add my voice to this thread as well.

I'm just curious, in the meantime, is there any workaround to make 1Password Desktop integration work with Throium? This is basically the one missing feature from making Thorium my perfect daily driver.
