Hey! I love this script, I use it all the time. I added a small util for converting the html into structured .csv. I have a PR for it, would I be able to contribute?

The feature you propose (exporting the comments to a CSV instead of generating an HTML structure) is indeed interesting – and I think it would be a good idea to implement them in the tool. I wrote my comments on your pull request.
This idea looks closely related to another issue present on the web version of RedditArchiver ( Ailothaen/RedditArchiver#2 ). Instead of just implementing a --csv option, I could imagine a --format option that would allow us to use a different HTML layout or a different format (such as CSV or JSON). This needs a refactoring of the way RedditArchiver generates the HTML structure, but I will probably get to it at some point (soon™). In the meantime, I suggest to use another tool such as https://github.com/Serene-Arc/bulk-downloader-for-reddit which typically exports to JSON.
